Grace Family Church of Americus is a church dedicated to equipping and serving God's first created institution....the family.  We are a "Family Integrated Church", in that we minister to the family as a whole, not breaking families up into component age-segregated parts.  The result is, that the church is a "family of families" in the true sense of the word.  Our primary ministry is to teach and equip parents with the unchanging wisdom of Scripture, so that the result is multi-generational faithfulness....generations of children who grow up in the Christian faith, and remain in the faith when they are grown.  This model of church is very different from what many are accustomed to in America.  But it is not new.  It is the prescribed model for New Testament churches.

We welcome all to visit us.  Meeting time is Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM for worship service, followed by a family meal each week and lots of true fellowship.  You are invited to join us...just bring yourself and your family, a heart for the truth of the Word of God, and a desire for the God of the Word!

What should you expect if you visit?  First, you will be warmly welcomed, no matter if your family is large, small, or if you are a single.  Second, you will see many children.  It is not unusual for there to be at least twice as many children as adults in any given service.  We pray, sing, and preach the Scriptures, and each service is concluded with the observance of the Lord's Supper.  The family meal follows, with plenty of food.  When the meal is finished, families sit around the tables for hours discussing everything from child rearing to theology, as the children play.  As there is no Sunday night service, there is no certain time that we end.  We simply enjoy the fellowship, and the time that we have to develop genuine relationships.

We have been absolutely blown away at what God is doing in bringing families alongside us who are passionate about family and the cause of the Gospel of Christ.  There is nothing we can say, but to clap our hands over our mouths, and give glory to God, for it is He who is doing this . . . .
